The Basics of Colour Theory
According to Colour theory, the colours are divided into primary, secondary, and tertiary categories
Primary colour Category consists of blue, yellow and red colours.
The secondary colour Category consists of Purple (blue + red), Green (blue + yellow) and Orange (red + yellow) colours.
The tertiary colour Category consists of Blue-violet, Blue-green, Yellow-orange, Yellow-green, Red-violet, and Red-orange colours.
And also the colours can be classified as below
Red, Orange and Yellow colours are listed in the Warm colour Category. They accelerate the warmth and energy.
Blue, Green and Purple colours are listed in the Cool colour Category. They provide calmness and serenity.
